Open Faced Laser Cut Mount
Both formats include a custom laser cut or water jet mount and frame design, with an open face that allows easy access to the hardware, GPIO pins, and the micro SD card. This means we can make MIDINA from a variety of materials including Acrylic, Aluminum, and even Cold-Rolled Steel. The sturdy, tweakable, easily modified, and hackable format inspires modification and customization.

With full RGB NeoPixels for feedback, custom backlit keycaps, and a variety of tactile switch options rated from 50M to 100M presses, it made sense to use MX style switches for their flexibility and reliability.
